Numb

Could it be possible to do something till you get numb of it like getting an anesthetic?

I guess it could be if things were done without emotions ,sincerity and was self seeking. I mean being told "I miss you" or showing physical affection wouldn't be numb to me even if it was done so frequently yet with sincerity in it. But I never been in that zone before though so I can't really say =p

But if I am wrong, guess I should know what to do in preparation for my years to come now! ROAR...
