Our 2 Weeks Together

I wouldn't have imagined myself surviving a a long distance relationship for 15months. But I did... rather we did it! We would have to survive this long distance thing for a few more months before we'll be able to see each other on a more regular basis than what we are doing now. It's certainly not easy having to only be able to see someone you love once after 3 or 4 months. Nevertheless, I am still grateful that we get to meet... I have a friend of mine who has been away from her boyfriend for a year and a half now.. even seeing each other at all throughout the whole time. I really do wonder how they did it? How on earth does I bare the pain of waiting and yearning to hold someone you love for such a long time? My guess? Trust... LOADS of trust and independence. She's amazing.. their relationship is amazing. And I think our's is too.

I've definitely gotten to know Richard a lot more after this trip.. and I can say that I love him even more. His determination to not give up and perseverance of not running away when things turn bad are some of the qualities I admire.

We have yet determine the next time we will meet.. But I hope, it's soon... Even if it is not, we shall make it through. I am sure of that =)

I'm injured

I just got back from the hospital because I injured myself during a game of badminton.

What happened was that I was trying place myself in a weird position and eventually twisted my Knee...yes, that's right. My knee and not the usual ankle.

Heard a loud "crack" as I landed on my left knee. Before I realised what was going on, I was already on the ground moaning as people from other courts came rushing to see what had happened. A coach asked me to move my feet to see if it still control it. I could but my knee was swelling so bad that I could not even stand up properly by myself.

I went to the hospital nearby (thank God I had an automatic car as I would not have been able to change gear if I had manual one). The wait was long. After 1.5 hours of waiting I finally got my examination and found out it was just a big sprain. There were X ray's and basic checking. And because it was a weekend , guessed how much it cost?

$NZD 100 for a simple check.....Yuck

Even though this has happened, I don't think that I'll ever stop myself from playing badminton once I have recovered =p

A post after I return from Shannon's graduation in Melbourne

I arrived back from Melbourne last week and must say that I had a good two weeks enjoying my stay with Ai and her parents.(and auntie)

Just feel that it was such a great time to know her family more. Her dad's a good cook and navigator, her mum's a very nice person, auntie's a clean freak but generous. Spent time with Nick Ong and managed to get to know his family better too. Had around 4 meals a day ( I'm got a spare tire now!) and loved almost every dish I had at Glen Waverly.

Just wanna take this opportunity to thank Auntie Elaine, and Uncle Stephen for much that they have done for me!

One thing I will miss when I'm away from Melbourne is Biscuit. Biscuit is Nick's doggie. She seems to be one of the few dogs that doesn't make me allergic to her fur. Maybe there is hope that I can have a dog of my own in the future...

Also I wanna congratulate Shannon for FINALLY finishing her undergrad degree. It's been too long =p Now all you gotta study is another 3 more years aye ?

A post before I left for Shannon's graduation in Melbourne

So the day that I have patiently waiting has arrived..

I will be flying off at 6.30 am tonight to Melbourne. A few days earlier but I am already excited as I post this blog up.

Next 2 weeks I will be spending time with Shannon and her family. Finally, a chance to see Ai again and also get to know her parents better.

Suit case are all packed and room all cleaned up (man, i'm efficient!)

Tonight, England will be playing France in the Rugby world cup in the quarter finals. My childhood friend has just gone to watch it. Wanted to watch it but the tickets were just way too expensive ($NZD 250).

For the remaining time I left in Auckland tonight, I'm going to just study hard for the remaining syllabus for my CCNA. I hope I'm ready for it. don't really have much time left... After the trip, it's just 2 weeks before I have to sit for it. Help me God.
