First post in 2016

The date is 1st January 2016.

I was thinking what to write in this post as I realised it has been a long long time since I contributed to this blog which started since I started dating Shannon.

The year 2015 has been a challenging one and also a fruitful one. Looking back through the year, we have been blessed with close friends who have moved over to Cragieburn. Shannon is closer to completing her constant-battling thesis. I have gotten a new job in a good environment, and completed a lot of IT certifications. We are also starting to settle down a bit more in our new church.

In my relationship with Shannon, we have our ups and downs but definitely more of the ups this year. I am really proud of Shannon of how determined she is to finish her thesis. She just recently completed her placement, which she had to travel 1.5 hours each way 3 times a week. And now she is close to finishing her thesis hopefully sometime March or April this year. Honestly I am so proud of her and pray for strength to push through these remaining weeks.

Spiritually, I have to be honest and say that I have been slacking in my walk with God. Mainly because time is so short for me. I live far from the city and have so much to do in my studies that I often start neglecting God. I pray for the rekindling fire for God again this year.

My new year's resolution:
- Step up to the plate as the head of the house.
- Love and understand my wife more.
- Progress in my career and achieve my certifications goals.
- Start exercising again.
- Start serving in church

Thank you to the people of have supported me and my family through this year. Bless you and have happy new year.
